Computop Payment API for Magento
This new Magento module offers shop operators access to a secure connection to the profes-sional Paygate payment platform from Computop.
With Computop Paygate, Magento Shops can use many existing payment methods such as,.
- credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, American Express, JCB, Diners Club)
- debit cards (Maestro International, Carte Bleue, Dankort)
- PayPal und PayPal Express
- Giropay
- Sofortüberweisung
- iDEAL
- mpass und
- Lastschrift (direct debit, Germany).
In addition, the Computop API for Magento offers useful service functions for reducing fraud and managing risk in the web shop. This includes:
- 3D-Secure (MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa)
- BIN and IP filters
- individually customisable Velocity Checks
- blacklists and whitelists as well as bank ID and account verifications.
Computop also provides
- automated payment management
- extended transaction management (ETM)
- credit vouchers and (partial) cancellation of orders from the Magento back office
- as well as detailed tracking of transactions in the Magento back office.
Online shops that offer their customers the ability to pay with credit cards are able to avoid their own involved Payment Card Industry Certification (PCI), because Paygate already ful-fills the strict security requirements according to the PCI Data Security Standard from VISA and MasterCard.
The dotSource Module is available in the Magento Community Edition in versions 1.4.0.1 and 1.4.1.1.
