Yes, we are looking forward to our 16th year in business with 331 hipsters, hackers and hustlers, with our partners, clients and their customers. We’re looking forward to many new faces, wild ideas and successful projects. A great feeling.
It didn’t go away in 2020 either – no matter how challenging this crazy year was – because we believed in ourselves. And as we all know, faith can move mountains. We practise digital freedom – not only since 2020, but even more so since then – because we have everything it takes. We have a strong IT team that made it possible for more than 330 employees to work from home within a very short period of time, including the technical set-up. We have a management board and an HR team that have been getting us through this difficult time since February 2020 – by being open and honest, showing good sense and even more heart.
Remote work, remote communication, hybrid collaboration and hybrid events have become part of everyday life and that is good news – despite all the circumstances. And 2020 has shown us yet another thing: how important it is to organise our everyday working life based on our private life and not the other way around. We all miss each other, there is no doubt about it. We all struggle with physical distancing, family office and the like, but #wereinthistogether.
We do not allow the Big C to drag down our team spirit, onboarding and mentoring or our productivity and the quality of our work. Quite the opposite. Our teams have done an outstanding job. Despite social distancing, we are often closer than ever. We see cats jump over keyboards, get to know little people, take part in renovations, see private things from living rooms and kitchens. We call each other more often, talk to each other more intensively and have a common goal: we can do it. Together. That is what we did in 2020 and that is what we will continue to do.
