The American Jewellery label Chamilia, founded in 2002, is a subsidiary of the Swarovski group. Chamilia is one of the world’s best known brands for personalised accessories. Their hand crafted collections in sterling silver and 14 carat gold excite with Murano glass from Italy and glittering SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS.
Swarovski Crystal Online AG, operator of the chamilia.com online shop, is a subsidiary of the Swarovski group.
Project objectives and implementation
Swarovski Crystal Online AG commissioned dotSource with the development of the new online shop chamilia.com. On the basis of Intershop Enﬁnity, dotSource also implemented a jewellery configurator and integrated the SCOOBOX blog, which has been developed in house.
The “Design Your Own” tool allows customers to create personalised jewellery and place it directly in their shopping cart. The design of this tool has been developed by a third party.
dotSource created an important value added through the integration of the blog, a component of the social commerce tool box SCOOBOX. Users can share blog entries on numerous social media channels.
