envia THERM GmbH is based in Bitterfeld-Wollen and is a 100 per cent subsidiary of envia Mitteldeutsche Energie AG. The company builds and operates renewable energy generation plants in Eastern Germany in the fields of wind power, photovoltaics, hydro power, biomass, biogas and bio-methane.
In addition, envia THERM acts as a contracting provider and supplies customers in Eastern Germany with district heating, cooling and process steam from gas and steam turbine plants, heating plants, decentralised combined heat and power plants and central heating plants. The company also focuses on energy-related services as well as energy and cost efficiency concepts.
Under the name »connect enlight«, the energy supplier has developed its own product that allows for automated data and measured value transmission as well as remote meter reading. This way, envia THERM GmbH helps operators of district heating networks and decentralised energy generation plants to handle their own data and to create legally required forms and reports automatically and in due time.
Objectives & Services
In order to make it easier for envia THERM to sell and promote the product online in the future, dotSource supported the energy supplier in implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud and connecting it to the existing platform based on Shopware.
Thanks to the sophisticated contact and opportunity management of Salesforce Sales Cloud, the sales and marketing of »connect enlight« can now be made more efficient. The automated lead classification and allocation as well as real-time notifications particularly help envia THERM’s employees when it comes to prioritising leads and the current state of progress.
With »connect enlight«, envia THERM has developed a software for the energy industry that helps its customers and partners to overcome their daily challenges: thanks to the software, regular and timely reporting is possible and users can save both time and paper because of the high degree of automation.
The software has opened up a new business field for envia THERM. By connecting Salesforce Sales Cloud to the online shop, all relevant lead and customer data can be transferred automatically, thus reducing the manual effort to zero.
