Project Tasks, Objectives and Implementation
Sachsen Fahnen GmbH & Co. KG needed a flexible and powerful shop system in order to address its target groups – service providers, retailers as well as smaller businesses and private customers – via one platform. Based on the enterprise version of Magento Open Source, which has been part of the Adobe group since 2018, dotSource created a concept and implemented the Vispronet.de online shop.
As part of the front-end development, dotSource created the new corporate design and screen design for Vispronet.de. In addition to setting up the online shop, dotSource customised Magento 1 Enterprise to meet specific requirements. Among other things, dotSource developed a tool for designing products step by step.
As part of the checkout optimisation, dotSource implemented a shipping cost calculator with an integrated currency converter and a dotSource payment module. Moreover, the Magento shop was connected to a newsletter system as well as various other third-party systems of the client.
