Initial Situation

Krones commissioned dotSource to develop a »Data Log Dashboard« that centrally provides machine production data visualised via a web interface. Previously, this data had to be processed manually to make it available for analysis in various tools, with Krones' service team and customers using different systems to access identical machine data sets.

As a result, valuable data required for both maintenance and the further refinement of machines was subject to significant delays and lacked a consistent format.

Both Krones' service team and customers now have fast access to machine runtime and error data. Instead of time-consuming manual analysis, machine data is uploaded via the B2B online shop and visualised immediately. This enables faster responses to irregularities and increases the efficiency of entire production lines.

Moreover, Krones is now able to collect valuable data to support the development of new machines and production lines.
