Seamless Integration of Middleware into Mövenpick Wein’s IT Landscape

Together with dotSource, a middleware solution was developed that enables Mövenpick Wein to connect new marketplaces effectively and flexibly. The new architecture is scalable and designed to operate independently from the webshop.

All processes are optimised while requiring minimal maintenance.

Automation for Efficiency and Accuracy

The middleware significantly reduces manual work and the risk of errors.

Data is exported on a regular basis and order statuses are automatically synchronised so customers are always kept up to date.

Completed orders are archived after a defined period to maintain high system performance.

Data Efficiency and Security

The middleware ensures that order data is centrally collected and standardised into a unified format.

At the same time, a combination of encryption, access management, and GDPR-compliant processes guarantees the highest level of data security.

 

 

Successful Integration of Vivino

The first platform to be integrated was Vivino—one of the world’s leading marketplaces for wine enthusiasts. The middleware communicates directly with the Vivino Order API to transmit orders accurately and in real time. This pilot project lays the foundation for the integration of additional marketplaces.
