Technical relaunch of swarovski.com

Swarovski Crystal Online AG contracted dotSource with the technical relaunch of swarovski.com. The agency supported Swarovski’s digital business team significantly with the implementation of an innovative online shop based on the latest technology. dotSource took on the technical integration of a comprehensive front end redesign. The design has been implemented by a third party. 

dotSource also integrated a conversion engine for an intelligent and error-tolerant search function and extended navigation and filtering possibilities. Additionally, dotSource upgraded the checkout processes to Intershop standards and integrated a leading payment service provider. The back office extension, which had previously been independent, was integrated to the Intershop standard. 

The technical integration of the new design concept fully supports Swarovski’s brand communication.

The checkout optimisation and improved usability appeal to both new and existing customers.

Integration of the SCOOBOX blog into swarovski.com

After the successful technical relaunch of swarovski.com in 2012, Swarovski Crystal Online AG turned to dotSource’s experts once again in 2013, this time with the aim of integrating a blog into the online platform. In the so-called WINK blog, Swarovski’s Creative Director Nathalie Colin shares her jewelry styling tips and experiences.

For the implementation, Swarovski Crystal Online AG decided on the SCOOBOX blog from the social commerce kit SCOOBOX developed by dotSource.

What is special about the implementation of a blog with SCOOBOX is the connection between online shop functionalities and editorial content.

This means that the pieces of jewelry shown in the WINK blog can be added to the shopping bag in just one click. dotSource carried out the technical integration of the SCOOBOX blog in multiple languages and integrated the search engine Omikron FACT-Finder®  for intelligent and error tolerant searching.
