At Röchling Industrial, no two orders are the same, which is highly unusual for traditional e-commerce – even in B2B. dotSource and Salesforce stood out against the competition with a proof of concept that included a modern and clean web design as well as an innovative cut-to-size calculator. The tool provides a digital impression of customised products via a 3D preview, with the configuration options being highly individual.

Improved User Experience

Powerful Features for Improved User Experience

The intuitive Röchling online shop based on Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud perfectly meets the requirements in terms of individual B2B purchasing features. With its state-of-the-art design, it is optimised for desktop PCs, mobile devices and all commonly used browsers. The new homepage was established as a central entry point for shop users, providing a clear overview of relevant links and features – such as the order history.

Online Shop Rollouts: New Search Tool

Integration of a New Search Tool

An improved search function was implemented as part of the subsequent online shop rollouts. After consulting with dotSource, Röchling opted for the search tool Coveo – a cloud-based solution for intelligent search options and product recommendations. This new system provides better search results while ensuring superior performance. The product listing pages, i.e. the pages providing an overview of the product categories, are now also displayed by the intelligent search engine.
