
About Europa Möbel-Verbund
Europa Möbel-Verbund (EMV) is a leading purchasing and marketing association for home furnishing retailers in Europe. With a purchasing volume of 1.62 billion euros, EMV supports its partners with innovative concepts, digitalisation services and the online platform called »Homepoet«. The latter supports customers throughout their journey and guides them to the retail locations of EMV member companies.
The goal of the association is to connect retailers and customers and offer the industry future-proof digital solutions through AI-powered data management.

Europa Möbel-Verbund: The Starting Point
The challenge was to develop a flexible basic design template that could be adapted for all brand pages. This would give the various brands within the network a standardised and modern digital presence. Moreover, existing online presences of the brands were to be visually and functionally revised to meet modern requirements regarding user guidance, design and performance.
Another goal was to increase the visibility of the individual brands and direct traffic specifically to the »Homepoet« sales channel. In addition, a comprehensive SEO concept was required to enhance the organic reach in the long term and improve the findability of the websites. EMV turned to dotSource to implement these requirements.
EMV engaged dotSource to deliver the following solutions:

Project Successes
Building on the Old to Create the New
In joint workshops, requirements were precisely defined and existing website components carefully evaluated. Where possible, existing components were used – this saved effort and accelerated the design process. Step by step, a modern basis for the visual redesign of the brand pages was created.
Flexible Template for a Consistent Brand Presence
Based on the developed designs, dotSource created a central template that can be tailored to the needs of the various EMV brands. EMV itself is responsible for managing and maintaining the content, while dotSource continues to provide consulting support – for maximum flexibility and a consistent brand presence.
SEO Boost for More Visibility
A tailor-made SEO concept, including detailed keyword research for the individual brands, was developed to increase the reach of the brand pages. Supplemented by tracking solutions and comprehensive dashboards in the SEO tool Looker Studio, this created the basis for keeping a permanent eye on performance and continuously optimising it.
