dotSource GmbH was commissioned by Heinrich Heine GmbH to participate in the technical implementation of the new online shop www.heine.de. As the platform evolved, dotSource engaged in extensive process and problem analysis to ensure optimal migration to IBM WebSphere Commerce.
The e-commerce system has been designed from the start to work with multiple parallel online stores and to enable efficient roll-outs in other countries.
dotSource helped develop the web app and styling for the product detail and product list pages, and was instrumental in improving performance and usability for both desktop and mobile devices. For all existing viewports, the team also integrated a flat design and completed the presentation of product bundles for styling recommendations and outfit inspirations.
As part of the Customers' Choice Survey 2018, the online shop, www.heine.de, was voted number one in the Fashion & Accessories category and received the 2018 German Online Retail Award.
