Every year, more than 270 events take place at Leipziger Messe, attracting over 15,500 exhibitors and more than 1.2 million visitors from all over the world. A modern infrastructure offers the ideal setting for trade fairs, exhibitions, congresses and shows.

Even long-established companies like Leipziger Messe are repositioning themselves as they undergo digital transformation. The website is the most important customer journey touchpoint here – not only for exhibitors, but also for service providers and trade fair visitors.

With dotSource, a modern, fresh website with a new visual concept and a clear navigation structure was implemented. By carefully refining the existing corporate design, including the distinctive logo, the dotSource user experience design team ensured Leipziger Messe's brand recognition.

LIVING STYLE GUIDE AS THE CENTRAL FRAMEWORK

The living style guide developed by dotSource acts as a central collection of the web design elements.

The advantage is that the design components always match the current development status and the live system so that the style guide does not become outdated over time. The documentation within the living style guide facilitates the further development of the website code and collaboration with other stakeholders.

MODULAR DESIGN FOR VERSATILE USE

The renewed design concept consists of modular design components. This makes it easy to integrate new content and quickly implement customer-specific changes.

Since individual websites were created for certain trade fairs, the modern and modular design developed by dotSource can also be used for other clients of the trade fair company – the main colour then changes according to the corporate identity of the respective trade fair.
