The Swiss group Angst+Pfister has been in existence for over 100 years. As a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of sophisticated component and engineering solutions, it serves more than 20,000 B2B customers from many different industries. Back in 2008, which marked an impressively early point in time for a B2B company, Angst+Pfister launched the APSOparts platform as an online shop.

With Adobe Commerce, Angst+Pfister not only has a cutting-edge e-commerce system with extensive features for the highly customisable ordering processes in the B2B environment. The platform also provides the necessary scalability to reliably accommodate the company's future growth with rising online sales.

PERFECTLY INTEGRATED SYSTEM LANDSCAPE

Besides the e-commerce tool, a content management system was implemented for Angst+Pfister and also optimally integrated into the system landscape. Interfaces to the enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution and the PIM tool allowed for the creation of a modern digital platform for B2B commerce. Thanks to the seamless integration, current prices in the online shop, for example, are dynamically calculated and displayed by the ERP solution.

MERGING CONTENT AND COMMERCE

In the future, the company's informative website with Magnolia's powerful, user-friendly CMS in the background and the revamped online shop based on Adobe Commerce are to be intertwined even more closely so that the demanding B2B target audience can also benefit from a seamless customer journey and real content commerce experiences.
